Prince Albert took a picture with Donald Trump at the Super Bowl as his wife, Princess Charlene, appeared to stay home.

The Prince of Monaco attended the Super Bowl in New Orleans, sitting one row behind the 47th President of the United States.

The Embassy of Monaco wrote on social media: “H.S.H. Prince Albert II of #Monaco and President Trump @POTUS catch up during Super Bowl week, celebrating their shared love for sports and camaraderie! #SuperBowl#SportsDiplomacy”.

Albert’s late mother, Grace Kelly, originated from Philadelphia, meaning the Prince of Monaco was likely supporting the Philadelphia Eagles in a private capacity.

The Philadelphia Eagles beat the Kansas City Chiefs for the Super Bowl LIX win.

Albert’s wife, Princess Charlene, was not pictured at the sports game, implying she stayed behind in Monaco.

One fan wrote on social media: “Awesome! Anyway, enjoy the match. Cheers guys!”

During his visit to New Orleans, Prince Albert toured the Sankofa Wetland Park, highlighting sustainability and recovery after Katrina.

The Prince and Princess tied the knot in a lavish two-day ceremony in 2011.

They share 10-year-old twins, Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella.

Trump was the first US President in history to attend the Super Bowl.

He was joined by his daughter, Ivanka Trump, as well as his son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Lara Trump.

In a bizarre scene, the 47th President was cheered by the crowds inside the Caesars Superdome whilst US superstar, Taylor Swift, received loud boos.

Her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, was playing for the losing team – the Kansas City Chiefs.

Swift and Kelce began dating in the summer of 2023.
