West Ham made history in midweek during Graham Potter’s first game in charge as they recorded a thrilling 3-2 win over Fulham on Tuesday evening.

Goals from Carlos Soler, Tomas Soucek, and midfielder Lucas Paqueta earned the hosts a stunning victory in opposite to the struggles they endured under former boss Julen Lopetegui.

The Spaniard’s sacking has breathed new life into the Hammers and history was recorded against London rivals Fulham as they became the first team to record 175 different Premier League goal-scorers.

Soler’s opening strike against Marco Silva’s side earned the Hammers the significant landmark figure as he became the 37th player to move onto a single goal for the club in the English top-flight.

Meanwhile, the injured Michail Antonio – who is still recovering from a serious car collision that left him in intensive care – leads the list as the most prolific Hammers goalscorer.

Antonio has bagged 68 Premier League goals since moving to the club in 2015 from Nottingham Forest, with his team-mate and current club captain Jarrod Bowen lagging just 20 goals behind. Mail Sport delves deeper into where every league club ranks across top-flight history.

However, Frank Lampard just misses out on the top 10 with the England legend tied with John Hartson on 24 goals for the Hammers.

Jermain Defoe (18 goals), Kevin Nolan (18) and Marko Arnautovic (21) also find themselves in the top 20 of the club’s record books.

Dimitri Payet (11) and Declan Rice (10) are both amongst the players that creeped into double digits of Premier League goals for the club before they ultimately opted for moves away from the London Stadium.

Meanwhile, Tottenham rank second in the all-time Premier League list for different goalscorers with 173 separate individuals finding the back of the net for the club.

Chelsea clinch third spot with 170 various strikers and Newcastle are just a single person behind them in fourth.

Everton’s incredible longevity has seen swathes of players walk through the revolving door at Goodison Park and the club can boast 167 Premier League goalscorers.

Aston Villa sit sixth in the charts with 161 players – – and Liverpool remain tied with title rivals Manchester City on 155 different goalscorers apiece since the Premier League began in 1992.

The Hammers are considering dipping into the January transfer window to fix their problems with Red Bull Leipzig striker Andre Silva amongst their top targets.

Hammers boss Potter is attempting to find an immediate solution to his goals problem and was positive about the club’s future prospects under his guidance following the midweek win.

‘We had to be creative with the attacking options we had. The performance was one of high effort, high togetherness and understanding we must suffer at times,’ said Potter.

‘It was far from perfect long-term, but it’s a foundation. Lots to do, but a great start,’ he added.
