Travis Kelce’s family reportedly ‘felt awful’ after Taylor Swift was brutally booed by Super Bowl fans on Sunday night.
The pop star was in attendance to watch the Philadelphia Eagles secure glory with a straightforward 40-22 victory in New Orleans.
Swift was sat watching the action unfold alongside rapper Ice Spice, with both of their faces appearing on the big screen.
However, the singer was booed by fans – something which left her visibly stunned, while Ice Spice also appeared surprised.

It was a chastening night for both Swift and Kelce, with the Chiefs star seeing his dreams of a three-peat go up in smoke.
One reason why Swift may have been booed is due to the fact she’s worn Eagles gear in the past, but was cheering on the Chiefs on the night.
And a source has told now Page Six that Kelce’s parents, Donna and Ed, were shocked by the hostility of the crowd.
“Travis’ family felt awful when Taylor was booed,” an insider is quoted as saying.

“Seeing the look on her face got to him. He always protects her and it broke his heart.
“He was already having a tough night and the fact that the stadium was predominantly Eagles fans didn’t help. Travis knows that this hurt her and anyone can see this.”
Kelce and Swift have been dating since 2023.
She was in attendance to watch the Chiefs win the Super Bowl last year but, this time around, the singer wasn’t her other half’s lucky charm.

Speaking on his brother Jason’s New Heights podcast, Kelce has now admitted that he’s unsure if he’ll continue playing.
His career has seen him win three Super Bowls so far, in 2020, 2022 and 2023 respectively.
And Kelce was coy when asked if he’s going to keep playing, with the tight end saying: “I know everybody wants to know whether or not I’m playing next year, and right now I’m just kicking everything down the road.
“I’m kicking every can I can down the road.
