Tesco has launched its first-ever Finest Steakhouse range in over 150 stores across England and Wales.

The new offering aims to bring the luxury steakhouse experience to customers’ homes, featuring premium cuts of steak and a variety of mains, sides and sauces.

With 23 brand new products, the range includes indulgent sharing steaks like T-bone and Cote de Boeuf, as well as single steaks such as salt-aged rump and thick-cut fillet. All steaks are British Aberdeen Angus, dry-aged for up to 35 days, and hand-trimmed by expert butchers.

The Finest Steakhouse concept caters to budget-conscious customers seeking a special dining occasion without the expense of eating out.

The new range will be available for Clubcard prices

The range extends beyond steaks, offering alternative mains such as Wagyu burgers, duck breast supremes and slow-cooked Ossobuco.

Premium sides include triple-cooked chips and truffle mac & cheese, whilst steak sauces and butters like truffle butter with cracked black pepper complete the offering.

To ensure a restaurant-quality experience, the products come in high-quality cardboard boxes with detailed cooking instructions, wine pairings, and chef’s tips on the packaging.

For the first time, meat thermometer cooking guides are also included. The Finest Steakhouse range is currently available at Clubcard prices, offering customers exceptional quality and value.

Wine pairings, chef’s tips, and detailed cooking instructions are featured on the back of each package. This ensures that even novice cooks can achieve restaurant-quality results at home.

The introduction of meat thermometer cooking guides is a first for Tesco, further enhancing the customer’s ability to prepare the perfect steak.

Tesco Group Brand Director Matt Kay said: “Our customers love finding ways to treat themselves at home and Tesco Finest showcases our best quality ingredients, pulled together by our expert teams and suppliers to create something truly special.

“I am excited that we are adding the new Finest Steakhouse to the range, inspired by the gourmet steakhouse experience.

“It has something for anyone who wants to recreate a restaurant-quality meal at home, from sharing and single-serve Aberdeen Angus steaks and alternative mains alongside indulgent sides, sauces and butters.”
