Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi brands himself “very honest” as he reveals why he lives in an ‘old farmhouse’ with Princess Beatrice.
Speaking on his high-end property firm Banda, Edoardo said: “A lot of people probably tell their clients what they want to hear, but from day one, we’re very, very honest.”
The UK-born Italian is the founder, CEO and creative director of the company.
Edoardo, who is attempting to redefine luxury property development through his company, established Banda in 2007 as the go-to developer for ultra-high-net-worth buyers seeking bespoke homes.

He explained to AD Middle East his distinctive approach to high-end property development.
Edoardo said: “To me, the beauty of imperfection is quiet luxury.”
He believes that intentional imperfections have the power to “tell a story” and share “a part of its journey”.
Since founding Banda in 2007 at age 23, Edoardo has overseen the design of approximately 300 luxury homes in London.
The high-end property developer regularly sells properties for over £38million.
Edoardo describes his profession as “a real privilege”.
Princess Beatrice, 36, and Edoardo, 41, moved to a 19th-century farmhouse in the Cotswolds in 2021.
Edoardo told the publication from his 19th-century farmhouse in the English countryside: “I love [old] things that have been restored; human-made rather than machine-made they’ve got soul, they’ve got energy.
“That’s got far more value.”
He added: “A lot of people are looking at longevity.”
The royal couple welcomed their second child together on January 22, with Edoardo announcing the birth of Athena Elizabeth Rose Mapelli Mozzi publicly a week later.
The pair, who married in July 2020, also have a daughter named Sienna, who was born in 2021, and Edoardo has an 8-year-old son named Wolfie from a previous relationship, who is often seen at royal appearances.
