Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie are constantly hindered by Prince Andrew’s “toxic brand”, a royal commentator has claimed.
The Duke of York, who stepped down as a working royal in 2019, has been wrapped up in countless scandals concerning his friendship with the late paedophile Jeffrey Epstein and his connections to an alleged spy, among others.
Richard Fitzwilliams, a royal commentator, spoke exclusively to GB News about how the Princesses of York are negatively impacted by the actions of their father, Prince Andrew.
He said: “One of the problems with Andrew is you don’t know what’s coming next week and next month.

“There’s a whole history of bad judgement of one sort or another.
“And bad doesn’t describe it, it’s terrible.”
He continued: “Regarding Beatrice, and Eugenie, the situation is desperate for them.

“Obviously it’s very possible they could play a bit more part in royal life if their father wasn’t so toxic.”
Princess Beatrice, 36, and Princess Eugenie, 34, are not working royals, however, they have supported the King and the Prince of Wales in a private capacity during previous events.
Last May, the sisters joined Prince William, 42, at Buckingham Palace for a garden party for example.
Princess Eugenie later admitted: “Come rain or shine, I was delighted to support my family yesterday to meet some special individuals at the Buckingham Palace Garden Party who have gone above and beyond to support their local communities and the country.”
Fitwilliams added: “The York brand is pretty toxic.”
Fitwilliams concluded: “You have got a former couple who are completely out of it, and there’s no way, other than perhaps at a church service or funeral or whatever, that he would appear without enormous public criticism.”
