Peter Kay paused one of this week’s shows at London’s O2 to call out fans causing a disturbance, warning them security would remove them.

The comedian, who came under fire earlier this year for singling out attendees at another gig and having them chucked out of the audience, seems to be taking a stand against loud show-goers.

The 51-year-old poked fun at a woman in the audience in February, calling her “Lisa Riley” as she was being removed from the premises.

Amid the public backlash that followed, actress Riley, 48, defended the comedian, labelling the incident “funny”.

This week, Kay remained unwilling to put up with noisy fans as he scolded some guests who’d come to see his show in the capital.

During the gig on Thursday evening, he is understood to have asked the crowd: “Is it them in that box? Is that them? Who is it?”

According to The Mirror, he went on: “It’s you monkeys there. Now then, what are we going to do with you now?

“These people in this area now, do any of you look like Lisa Riley? No, alright,” he quipped as the audience erupted into laughter.

He reportedly went on to dare the audience members to jump out of the box they were in.

Taking the larger audience into consideration, he asked the crowd if the two louder members were annoying them, to which they reportedly cheered in response.

“So what are we going to do about this? I’m not getting involved this time,” he continued.

“Please, the lovely people in that area, would you like to raise your hands if those gentlemen are p***ing you off?”

He quipped: “I’m going to leave it to the security team to go up there and sort it out.

“Nah, you can carry on, but if you’re rambunctious, you’re going home early… you naughty boys.”

Speaking to the same publication, an audience member recalled: “Peter waded in as the crowd was audibly kicking off due to some disagreement in the crowd.

“He poked fun at the idea of kicking them out, then dished out the issue to his security.

“But he did reference it again twice in the show as they kept shouting, comparing it to a ‘boot sale’ at one point.

“It seemed like the audience in the area wanted him to kick the person out due to all the drama.”

During the incident last month, Kay was labelled “nasty” following his remarks to the rowdy attendees.

The comedian was performing at his Manchester homecoming gig on Saturday, February 8 as part of his Better Late Than Never Again! tour, and became furious when one man in the crowds kept shouting “garlic bread” – Kay’s catchphrase.

Another woman who yelled “we love you” was booted out, with Kay yelling remarks about her appearance, comparing her to Emmerdale star Riley.

Despite the criticism from the public, Riley publicly supported Kay, writing on social media: “It’s a laugh, it’s funny!”
