A Michigan Wolverines fan is refusing to eat dog poo after vowing he would do so if they lost to Washington.

The X user @AJ71827 promised to do the disgusting forfeit if the reigning national champions lost to the unranked Huskies on Saturday.

After being dared to do it earlier this week, they posted on X: ‘If Michigan loses to Washington, I will eat dog poop out of a red solo cup.’

Their worst fears came true when Washington defeated No. 10 Michigan 27-17 in Seattle in a rematch of last season’s College Football Playoff championship game.

It led to many excited fans to flood @AJ71827’s replies, demanding they perform the disgusting act.

The fan was so confident that the national champions would win he made an outrageous bet

But, after Washington defeated No. 10 Michigan, the fan told others they ‘need to get a life’

But they were left disappointed when the previously confident @AJ71827 refused to do the forfeit.

They wrote: ‘Y’all actually think you’re gonna get to me while I’m busy laughing my a** off.

‘Some of you guys seriously need to get a life, this is concerning… I’m not eating the dog poop, get over it. Michigan is not cursed.’

Fans were furious that they had reneged on their promise and took aim in reply.

One commented on X: ‘Not a man of your word?’

Another added: ‘Michigan man with no integrity, shocking.’

‘Be a man of your word. Stop being soft,’ said a third.

The Huskies scored the game’s final 13 points to avenge a 34-13 loss in the national title game

It is eerily similar to last season when a Florida Seminoles fan promised to eat dog feces if they lost to Boston College.

They did, but the fan instantly deleted all of his social media accounts so he didn’t have to perform the act.

Even ESPN’s Monday Night Football anchor Scott Van Pelt mentioned it on-air.

‘You think you just get to delete your account, the internet ain’t gonna forget that, buddy,’ he said.

‘You don’t get to just keep it moving and get a new name or something. People are gonna find ya. That’s how that works.’
