In the cooking segment, Meghan demonstrates her approach to making the dish, repeatedly referring to the Italian pasta as “noodles”.
This American terminology stands out in stark contrast to British culinary vocabulary, where pasta and noodles are considered distinct food items.
The Duchess prepares the pasta whilst explaining it’s something she cooks regularly at home.

Whilst another wrote: I have American friends who say noodles for spaghetti, no idea why, but then they have other food they call different names to us… Zucchini for Courgette for example. It’s no big deal.”
The unusual phrasing features prominently in the first episode of her new series, which dropped at 8am UK time after being delayed from its planned January release.
The show also reveals Prince Harry’s peculiar food habit, according to Meghan.
Speaking to Hollywood friend Mindy Kaling in episode two, the Duchess disclosed: “I have a family, a husband, who no matter what meal is put in front of him before he tastes it puts salt on, so I try to under salt.”
This revelation came during a discussion about how to properly season eggs.

“It feels like such a different time but that was so normal with the microwavable kids meals.”
This insight into her upbringing provides context for her current approach to cooking and entertaining, which she displays throughout the duration of the show.
