Amad Diallo has dropped a potential hint regarding his comeback from injury after sharing a cryptic social media post.
The Ivorian winger is among a number of absentees for Manchester United, with the likes of Kobbie Mainoo, Lisandro Martinez and Luke Shaw also out of action.
Ruben Amorim will be hoping that some of the sidelined stars are able to make a return before the end of the campaign, as they look to push for a top-half finish.
Diallo had been one of the standout stars for United throughout the campaign but damaged ankle ligaments in training last month and underwent surgery.
However, he’s provided some much-needed positive news for the Red Devils in the form of a cryptic post onto his Snapchat.
On Monday night, the winger shared a picture of himself playing for United with an hourglass emoji and a smiling emoji accompanying it.

Many United fans understood this to be a hint from Diallo that he could make a return to the pitch sooner than expected.
Diallo was ruled out for the rest of the campaign after suffering the training injury, having provided nine goals and seven assists in all competitions for the side.
At the start of the month, Amorim raised hopes that Diallo could return before the end of the season in late May after making good progress in his recovery.
Prior to United’s trip to Arsenal, which resulted in a 1-1 draw, Amorim said: ‘Amad we will see in the last month.
‘I don’t want to say anything, but I have the hope to have Amad before the end of the season. Let’s talk about Sunday and we’ll see.’
Meanwhile, Mason Mount is nearing a comeback having not played since the Manchester derby in mid-December.
Amorim believes his other injured players such as Mainoo, Harry Maguire and Manuel Ugarte will also be back with the exception of Lisandro Martinez who is out for the season.
United are reportedly preparing for a huge clear-out this summer with at least 10 departures on the cards.
It is no secret that the club’s new ownership and manager Amorim are looking to overhaul the squad after another desperately disappointing campaign.

The Manchester Evening News claim United are looking to permanently sell the trio of Marcus Rashford, Antony and Jadon Sancho.
All three players are currently on loan at other clubs after falling out of favour at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils are also believed to be in the market for a new winger with a host of attacking talents set to depart.
The prospect of no European football also puts United in a position to trim their squad with both the Europa League and Champions League guaranteeing at least eight more games in a season.
