A self-professed ‘Forever Democrat’ who was forced to flee her apartment building in Aurora by the Tren de Aragua gang has revealed she will now vote Republican.
Cindy Romero and her husband moved out of the Edge Lory apartments due to safety concerns after their security cameras filmed men armed with long guns in the complex and trying to get into units.
‘I’m going to vote Republican down ballot,’ Romero told Fox News Digital.
‘And I’m going to do it every year until someone does something about this problem. I don’t want my kids to be the next victims of this.’
The Romeros had an elaborate system of locks running from the top of the door to the bottom which they acquired as they saw the Denver suburb becoming less safe.

After a shootout at the apartment complex earlier this month, the Romeros’ car was riddled with bullets.
‘I was pushed out of my apartment by gang activity, people carrying guns in the hallway and patrolling the grounds with guns,’ Romero said.
Romero shared her story during Donald Trump’s appearance in Colorado and said said the media didn’t take her at face value or do their research and have left her stranded.
In the footage taken by the Romeros’ cameras, heavily armed men are seen storming through the block brandishing their weapons.
At the end of the video, the door opens and the apparent gang members all walk into the apartment. It wasn’t clear whether anyone inside the home was injured.

‘Operation Aurora’ will target Tren De Aragua. Trump delivered the new policy objective while standing next to blown-up mugshots of several of the gang members apprehended by the Aurora Police Department.
Trump said Friday that Operation Aurora would act as a gang member removal program invoking the Alien Enemies Act of 1798 ‘to target and dismantle every illegal migrant criminal network operating on American soil.’
It is currently unclear, however, how the plan would differ from current policies that enable the U.S. to remove violent criminals.
Aurora entered the spotlight in August when the footage by the Romeros emerged online. Trump has claimed extensively that Venezuelan gangs are taking over buildings.

DailyMail.com obtained city records where staffers admitted three rental properties ‘are in complete control’ of Tren de Aragua (TdA) and claim that many more than just three properties are victims of the ‘criminal infestation.’
‘As of now, the Aurora-Multi-Family Properties are in the complete control of the Gangs,’ the police report dated June 29 states.
The property manger of the three properties (Aspen Grove Apartments, the Edge of Lowry and Whispering Pines) was told by the gangsters not to go back or his life would be in danger.
Gang members were also known to be armed with deadly weapons, including assault rifles and knifes.
A report by the law firm detailed the chaos at the apartments, including beatings that nearly left victims dead, shootings, drug sales and even child prostitution were taking place.
