Two thugs who carried out a horrific drive-by shooting of a rival gang member in an open car park have been jailed.
Tyjon Cogger, 22, and Saabir Mohamed, 26, were sentenced to a total of 38 years after orchestrating the merciless attack outside a Farmfoods in Smethwick, West Midlands, in October last year.
Chilling footage of the shooting showed Cogger arrive at the Cape Hill Retail Park in a stolen Ford Kuga after spending the evening driving around hunting for their target.
Seconds later Mohamed is seen jumping out the car before blasting the victim, who was in his 20s, in the leg with a sawn-off shotgun.
The pair then quickly drove off leaving the injured man on the tarmac.
He was later was dropped off in an Audi at Birmingham’s City Hospital, where staff alerted police.
The victim refused to talk to police, but detectives were able to use the hospital’s CCTV to track the Audi back to the scene of the shooting, which eventually led them to identify Cogger and Mohamed as the culprits.
Cogger was jailed for 18 years and-a-half years, while Mohamed was sentenced to 20 years and eight months in prison after they pleaded guilty to firearms offences.

It was later revealed that the incident had been in retaliation for Cogger’s friend being stabbed around 24 hours earlier shortly before midnight on October 21.
That victim had also been taken to City Hospital where he was targeted again.
A group of males turned up in a Mitsubishi armed with baseball bats but fortunately police were already at the scene and the hospital was forced into lockdown.
Detectives were able to identify Cogger and Mohamed after trawling through hours of CCTV and studying telecommunications data.
Police established after the shooting the Kuga was driven away from the scene and the defendants got into a Mercedes.
Cogger was caught refilling the car with fuel on petrol station CCTV later that night.

Cogger, of Dudley, West Midlands, and Mohamed, of Smethwick, were found guilty of firearms offences after a trial at Birmingham Crown Court last year.

Detective Inspector Francis Nock, from the force’s Major Crime Unit, said: ‘Officers worked extremely hard to piece together what happened and spent hundreds of hours reviewing CCTV footage.
‘It is down to their hard work that we identified Cogger and Mohamed and brought them to justice.
‘These men are dangerous and are now rightfully behind bars, making our streets a safer place.’
The investigation was carried out as part of West Midland Police’s Operation Target, under which it coordinates a region-wide fight against serious and organised crime.
