Amanda Owen and her family have been flooded with messages of support after the Our Yorkshire Farm star shared an insight into how the farm is going as they enter December.

The mum-of-nine took to Instagram to provide the update from a snow-covered Yorkshire Dales as she shared a series of snaps of her children feeding the animals on the farm.

She also included a weather forecast from earlier this week in which it showed the temperate had plummeted to -10°C.

“A proper wintery feel to the beginning of December,” Owen penned alongside the post before adding the hashtags: “#Swaledale #yorkshire #shepherdess #winter #nithered #snow #cold #freezing.”

And while several fans were pleased to see Owen’s children still throwing themselves into the running of the farm despite the chilly weather, others expressed their concern due to the below-freezing temperatures.

“My goodness, that’s cold. Take care, I hope and all the farm come through unscathed,” one of Owen’s followers penned in response.

A second fan was similarly concerned for the farm and its animals as they echoed: “I see that Ravenseat has the coldest temperature in North Yorkshire. That’s committed farming! Hope your family and stock keep safe.”

“Wow that’s cold, stay safe,” a third urged, followed by a love heart emoji, before a fourth commented: “You all keep warm. Total respect to all of you.”

Meanwhile, a fifth praised the Our Yorkshire Farm star: “-10 and still the work continues. Always fabulous to see you and the family at your beautiful (and cold) Ravenseat. X.”

“WOW! You All keep safe and warm x Lovely photo,” a sixth weighed in while another simply pleaded: “Stay warm and safe.”
