A woman is fighting for her life after ‘falling from a moving car that failed to stop’, police have confirmed.
Hertfordshire Police said that the unnamed woman had fallen out of a BMW on Oundle Avenue in Bushey at around 9.20pm on January 29.
Shaun Colvin, 34, has been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent, failing to stop following a road traffic collision, and failing to report a road traffic collision.
Police say that the female victim sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
She remains in a critical condition having sustained multiple skull fractures.

Following extensive work by detectives, Colvin was arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
Detective Sergeant Mario Toumazou said: ‘Colvin has been remanded to prison ahead of his next court appearance.
‘The suspect and victim are known to each other, and I hope this news reassures the public that we take reports of violence against women and girls seriously.’
Colvin will appear at St Albans Crown Court for a pre-trial preparation hearing on Monday 3 March.
