A woman slimmed down from 22st 7lb to 12 stone during an incredible weight loss transformation.
She overhauled her diet as part of her weight loss journey and prioritises eating a diet high in protein.
Danni Phillips, 36, wanted to be a fit and active mum for her son.
However, unhealthy habits meant she had piled on the pounds and her fitness levels were low.
She would gorge on supersized portions before slimming down

Danni would gorge on supersized portions, often eating a family-size chocolate bar to herself.
The slimmer said: “It felt like the weight just kept piling on. It’s one of those situations where you feel trapped, like there’s no way out.
“Being in a long-term relationship, you tend to get comfortable and before you know it, the pounds have added up.
“It wasn’t really what I ate, it was more my portions were just humongous, especially at nighttime.
“After putting my son to bed I would think, ‘This is my chill time, this is my time’, and I would open a big family-size chocolate bar. I wouldn’t think twice about eating a whole one to myself.”
Danni was inspired to lose weight after seeing motivational videos on social media.
The dieter transformed her diet and now tucks into healthy homecooked meals with a focus on eating plenty of protein.
Eating more protein has been linked to having less belly fat, according to a study.
As well as a healthy diet, Danni kickstarted her weight loss with the help of a gastric sleeve surgery, which she had done at Weight Loss Riga in Latvia.
Weight loss surgeries such as a gastric band can help those who are extremely overweight. It involves a band being placed around your stomach.

It helps slimmers to feel fuller and therefore eat less, but the decision to do this should not be taken lightly.
Danni’s new diet includes yoghurt with fruit for breakfast, a protein bagel with cream cheese for lunch and she will snack on protein bars.
“For tea, I tend to have lots of stir-fries with plenty of vegetables and rice noodles or a jacket potato with salad,” she added.
“I try to focus on getting enough protein in and being conscious of portion control, especially with fun foods like chocolate, and I have successfully maintained my weight two years later.
“I just feel so much better now and I’m like a different person, people always tell me how much happier I seem.”
