The Repair Shop’s Will Kirk has given fans a rare glimpse of his young daughter helping with their home renovation project.
The furniture restoration expert shared a sweet video on Instagram today showing his little one assisting with DIY tasks.
Kirk and his family moved from their London flat to a Victorian countryside property in Farnham, Surrey last year.
The father-of-two has been documenting his renovation journey on social media, with his daughter now joining in the family’s DIY efforts.
Will Kirk’s daughter made a rare appearance on his timeline
Taking to Instagram on Sunday, the presenter shared a video of his daughter wearing her very own tool belt, joking that his little helper “hasn’t been much help”.
“Not much happening on the house today, as my builder has had five juice breaks and is on their third trip to the DIY store,” he quipped alongside the sweet clip.

The video offers a rare glimpse of the adorable tot but this isn’t the first time Kirk’s daughter has helped with the renovation. Earlier this month, he shared a clip of the curly-haired youngster painting wooden panelling pink.
The heartwarming moment showed the little one getting stuck in whilst her mum Polly began peeling off old wallpaper.
Kirk has been tackling various projects in their new home, from sanding floorboards to plastering and clearing out an old fireplace.
However, it hasn’t always been easy as The Repair Shop star recently admitted he and his wife Polly sometimes lock horns about the tasks on the to-do list.
“There is always something that needs fixing. It is never ending.”
However, he refused to give in to an ultimatum Polly had up her sleeve.
“My wife did say, ‘You know if you can’t sand the floor and you’re not happy with it, we can always get someone in?’ And I said, ‘No way! No way! Not in this house!'” Kirk remarked.
“It is hard, especially with two children as well but I absolutely love it.”
The restoration expert and his wife Polly decided to leave their Wandsworth flat after welcoming their second child in autumn 2024.
During an appearance on Alan Titchmarsh’s Love Your Weekend, Kirk confirmed: “I have a boy and a girl. My daughter is just over two and a half, and my son is three months.”
Kirk described the current renovation as “a new project and one slightly larger than what I’m used to” in a recent social media post.
“I’ve been doing the majority of the work myself with a little bit of help from my wife and my daughter,” he added.
“It’s going to be a long journey, but hopefully you’ll follow me along the way,” Will told his followers, adding: “Looking forward to sharing a different kind of restoration journey with you.”
Kirk is well-known for his furniture restoration work on BBC’s The Repair Shop, which he joined in 2017.
