Wetherspoon is set to make significant changes to its menu this May, in an update that affects customers across the UK and Ireland.
The pub chain – colloquially dubbed ‘Spoons’ – will remove steaks, mixed grills and gammon from its offerings on Wednesday, May 14.
However, the scrapping of these items will make way for new additions as part of the company’s menu refresh.
Wetherspoon will introduce a new range of Gourmet Burgers on the same day steaks, mixed grills and gammon will be removed from the menu.

The new offerings will include The Big Smoke, Buffalo Burger and Cheese Meltdown.
These premium burger options aim to refresh the chain’s food selection for the summer season.
Wetherspoon’s menu shake-up will also feature a range of Korean-style chicken meals.
Reflecting the growing popularity of Korean cuisine in the UK dining scene, Wetherspoon appears to be embracing international food trends.
The pub chain also runs a “Curry Club” every Thursday, where a selection of curry dishes is made available for less.
Speaking to GB News, a spokesperson from the pub said: “Wetherspoon is confident that its menu provides a variety of choices and value-for-money meals.
“We appreciate that some customers will be disappointed with the decision to remove steaks and grills.”
In other Spoons news, the pub is set to introduce a new draught beer to pubs across the UK, with pints from £3.20.
The French premium lager, 1664 Bière (4.6 per cent ABV), will be added to the company’s existing lineup of draught beers.
Customers can enjoy the new pint on its own, or snap it up as part of the pub’s “Monday Club” and “Includes a Drink” offerings.

Just last month, Wetherspoon announced deals for those who are partial to a pub breakfast.
The new menu includes breakfast muffins and small breakfast options priced at £2.99, served with free refills of hot drinks.
However, customers are warned not to get caught out, as some locations will be exempt from the offering.
