Countless diets promise a slimmer waistline, but sustainable weight loss begins with greater awareness of your daily habits.
The best approaches tend not to emphasise total restriction but rather encourage a healthy balance.
For Georgia Reyer, this meant allowing room for the occasional dessert to help curb her cravings.
The TikTok user shared her favourite weight loss-friendly treats on her channel, where she’s documenting her journey of shedding 55kg through sustainable dietary changes.

A recent post focussed on helping others maintain their sweet cravings whilst pursuing their weight loss goals, demonstrating that treats can still be part of a successful weight loss journey.
“I gained a massive sweet tooth throughout my weight loss journey,” Georgia noted in the post.
“By eating these cheeky desserts I still managed to maintain my goals and satisfy my cravings.”
Georgia emphasised the importance of moderation, adding: “At the end of the day its all about moderation, you never have to sacrifice food! Just consume [smaller] servings or a lower calorie alternative.”
Her dessert alternatives included Snicker bars at 168 calories each and Cookies & Cream Classic Ice Cream sandwiches containing 187 calories.
She also recommended Halo Top ice cream (90 calories per serving), Little Moons Mochi Bites (83 calories), and Paul low-fat chocolate mousse (70 calories).
Other options in her sweet treats arsenal included Gelativo Mango sorbet (75 calories), Peters Vanilla Low-Fat Ice Cream (59 calories), and Nestle Milo (76 calories per serve).
“You’re always allowed to splurge too! Its crucial to understand the importance of balance,” she added.

Health experts emphasise that sustainable weight loss should never compromise essential nutrition, and that should maintain a minimum of 1,200 calories daily, whilst men should not consume less than 1,500 calories per day.
Moderate physical activity, including approximately 30 minutes of daily exercise, plays a vital role in achieving healthy weight loss.
The Mayo Clinic suggests focusing on the energy density of foods when trying to lose weight.
“Simply put, energy density is the number of calories (energy) in a specific amount of food,” their experts explain. “Low energy density means there are few calories in a large amount of food. When you’re striving for weight loss, one strategy is to eat low-energy-dense foods.”
