Travis Kelce has confirmed that Taylor Swift will attend the Chiefs’ game against the New Orleans Saints on Monday night.

The pop sensation was not at Kelce Car Jam on Saturday, the charity event hosted by the tight end on his 35th birthday.

She has also missed the Chiefs’ past two games but Kelce confirmed on Saturday: ‘I know she’s coming in for the game’

Kelce was joined by his brother Jason, his parents – Ed and Donna – and some Chiefs teammates including Patrick Mahomes for the second annual Kelce Car Jam, a block party showcasing cars belonging to the Chiefs star and his friends.

Proceeds from the event will go to Kelce’s 87 & Running Foundation which raises funds for children in need around Kansas City and Cleveland.

The Kansas City tight end hosted the Kelce Car Jam in Kansas City on his 35th birthday

Speculation was rife ahead of the event over whether Swift would come to Kansas City to support her boyfriend on his birthday.

Kelce was overheard telling people at the event that the pop sensation would not be joining him. ‘She will not be here right now, he said.

But he confirmed she would be at Arrowhead Stadium on Monday night, when the back-to-back Super Bowl champions look to go 5-0 for the season.

Swift was in the stands for the Chiefs’ opening two games – when they beat the Ravens and the Bengals – but she has missed their two most recent victories.

The pop sensation has been a regular in the stands since she started dating the tight end last year. But she was not among the crowd when Kansas City edged past the Atlanta Falcons and the Los Angeles Chargers.

Swift has been absent from the last two Chiefs games that the 35-year-old has played in

Swift and Kelce recently enjoyed a day out together at the US Open final in New York

It came after an alleged ‘contract’ appeared online recently, claiming the couple would announce a split on September 28.

Kelce’s slow start to the 2024 season also prompted some to speculate whether the relationship was impacting his performances.

But insiders close to Swift slammed the ‘absurd’ and ‘misogynistic’ narrative, insisting to DailyMail.com that the singer can be supportive without cheering from the sidelines at every game.

‘It’s absolutely absurd and a misogynistic to speculate that Taylor’s attendance impacts Travis’ performance,’ the source said.

‘He loves her support but doesn’t expect her at every single game, just as she would not expect him at every Eras tour date. And fans don’t make a fuss when he’s not at every gig.’

They continued: ‘They have their own lives and own careers, and both are at the top of their game.’
