A man has been found dead in waters off a popular beach on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula.
A jet skier contacted emergency services after discovering the unresponsive man in waters off Tyrone Beach, Rye, on Friday afternoon.
The man was taken ashore but despite CPR being administered he was declared dead at the scene.
Victoria Police said they’ve yet to determine how he died but the death is not suspicious.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
