Tesco has highlighted the latest additions to its popular Meal Deal range.
Inspired by some of the UK’s favourite takeaways, the sandwiches and wraps are available now – but only for a limited time.
Tesco highlighted a number of new products in its meal deal range in a post on social media.
It said: “Is lunchtime the new Friday night takeaway? New Limited Edition Meal Deal mains are available for pick-up in-store now!”

The supermarket giant highlighted four new items that are inspired by some of the most popular takeaway flavours.

- Tandoori Chicken & Onion Bhaji
Britons headed to the comments section to share their opinions. One said, “this looks so yum”, while another added, “I love it”.
Not all shoppers were as sure, however, as one called out a common ingredient. They wrote: “Mayo on everything! No thanks”. More hungry customers called for more alternatives, such as gluten-free or vegetarian sandwiches.
Others tagged their friends to let them know about the new options, while more simply “liked” the post or left positive emojis, such as the “heart eyes” emoji.
Those hoping to try the limited-edition mains must be quick, however, as they are only available until May 18.
