Tesco shoppers have taken to social media to share their opinions over the new options on Tesco’s meal deal range.

The supermarket, which has been offering its meal deal selection since 1995, shared the new foods online for customers to react.

The new additions to Tesco’s meal deal range include a Chicken and Bacon Caesar in a Seeded Tortilla and a Gluten-free Cheese & Onion Sandwich.

One user wrote: “Gluten-free finally! Amazing! But cheese and onion? Really, can’t we have something interesting too, please!”

Another said: “Spinach and potatoes inside a wrap… how about some tasty vegan sandwich options?”

The supermarket has also launched a limited edition range with the Breakfast Half and Half which features one sandwich with bacon and ketchup and another which has sausage and brown sauce.

Other limited-edition options include the Korean BBQ-style Chicken & Bacon Wrap and the Plant Chef Saag Aloo Style Wrap.

A total of 25 new items have joined the meal deal menu to go with the large catalogue the supermarket already boasts.

Tesco recently revealed the most popular meal deal selections from 2024 too.

It shared that the most popular sandwich people bought was the Chicken Club sandwich and the most popular snack was a boiled egg in a pot.

The most common drink people bought with their meal deal combination last year was a 500ml bottle of Coca-Cola.

Customers can purchase meal deals from £4 which has increased by 10p last year.

Customers can purchase a meal deal for 40p cheaper if they have a Clubcard, leaving the overall sum for the selection at £3.60.

The supermarket wrote online: “Bring in the New Year with fresh, exciting flavours for your Tesco meal deal from the Finest Chicken & Bacon Caesar wrap to Limited Edition Half & Half mains. Your combo is covered.”

Tesco shoppers have also been reacting to their Clubcard Unpacked, sharing their most bought items of 2024.

One shopper said: “Clubcard Unpacked and my most bought items aren’t things I bought for myself but I’m getting them points from buying stock for work.
