This week, Magnum urged customers not to eat one product. The warning has now been extended as Tesco issues a new update.
The major supermarket recalled Magnum Almond Ice Cream Sticks 3x100ml, as they may contain plastic or metal.

‘If you’ve bought an affected product, please don’t eat it’
Tesco
Tesco said: “Unilever are recalling a limited number of Magnum Almond Ice Cream Sticks 3x100ml.
“This is because safety checks show they may contain small pieces of plastic or metal, which may pose a risk if eaten.
“If you’ve bought an affected product, please don’t eat it. Instead, return it to a Tesco store where a full refund will be given.
“No receipt is required. Use our store locator to find your nearest UK Tesco store or ROI Tesco store.”
Magnum fans can also contact the ice cream company. Tesco told customers: “If you’d prefer, you can contact Magnum directly for a refund and further guidance.”

This comes as Waitrose and Sainsbury’s recalled the same Magnum ice creams.
The Food Standards Agency shared a warning: “Unilever is recalling Magnum Almond Ice Cream Sticks, (3x100ml), because of the possible presence of plastic and metal.
“The possible presence of plastic and metal makes the product unsafe to eat.”
