The family behind 22 Kids and Counting continue to fascinate fans of the series, with recent news confirming their family is set to see another new addition soon.

Sue and Noel Radford have been in the public eye since they launched the documentary series about their brood – Britain’s largest family.

The family continue to generate interest in how they afford their lavish lifestyle with 22 mouths to feed, with the parents frequently treating the entire family – and their grandchildren – with holidays to Disney World.

The record-breaking family have always insisted they use no state help to aid them financially, with Noel’s family pie business as lucrative as ever.

A new family member is now on the way, with the couple’s eighth daughter Katie, 21, recently announcing her pregnancy news.

With the family’s interesting way of life still documented in their show and on social media, curiosity remains about their finances.

Matriarch Sue Radford’s has opened up about her net worth, with the household enjoying earnings made through the bakery business as well as their social media income and television appearances.

Now that many of the children are older, they also contribute to the family’s finances.

Sue has argued the huge clan are far from wealthy and has highlighted the necessity to budget and plan their spending as other families do.

“We’re definitely not secret millionaires,” she recently told The Mirror, adding: “To me, rich would be having the big mansion, the flash cars and quite a few hundred thousand in the bank, to me that would be rich but we are not that.”

The family live in a 10-bedroom home in Morecambe, Lancashire, which is reportedly worth £957,000.

Their thriving business also keeps them living very comfortably and, while their exact earnings remain under wraps, the family disclosed their annual expenses exceeded £1 million in 2021.

The couple take money from the older children who still live under their roof to support their huge expenses.

Last month, Sue was forced to defend the family after an X user took aim at the family using “public money”.

After sharing some holiday snaps, one person’s comments got under her skin and she fumed on the social media app about how she “won’t tolerate it anymore”.

The 49-year-old has treated her family once again to a get-away in their £40,000 motor home – the 26th holiday the family has enjoyed in two years.

Radford decided to share a screenshot of the exchange which took place following the targeted message.

The original remarks, by an account belonging to a user named Adam, read: “You are disease…[It’s] paid for by the taxpayer.”

The nasty remark came in response to a photo of the family enjoying a holiday barbecue, which prompted Radford to hit back: “I wonder if Adam is a high-rate taxpayer or if Adam pays tax at all?

“Maybe he’s a bit p****d he doesn’t own a motorhome. I would be too as we b****y love it, paid for with our hard-earned, high-rate, taxpayer’s money.”

Taking to Instagram Stories, she later added: “Sorry, I’d never share anything like this, BUT we get lots of these so just want to clarify, Adam is a D**K.”
