22 Kids and Counting star Sue Radford has made her feelings clear on the possibility of having further children with her husband Noel.

The couple’s huge brood, including 22 children and 13 grandchildren, has been the subject of fascination since featuring on the Channel 5 programme covering their day-to-day lives.

“They’re chaos,” Radford admitted when asked about how she manages her enormous family, with her 22 children ranging in age from four to 35.

While speaking on ITV This Morning, their whole family in toe, she and Noel reflected on the trials of the morning school rush, finding shoes for each child and festive occasions.

The pair conceded Christmas was “bedlam” with Noel explaining he prepared “two turkeys, a gammon and a piece of beef.”

He continued, explaining the extraordinary regular domestic needs of the family: “We can go to the shops at seven o’clock at night, buy 12 pints of milk and it’ll be gone in the morning.”

Following the reflections on their exhausting lifestyle, host Cat Deely jumped in to ask if Radford, who is preparing for her upcoming “big five-oh” 50th birthday, is planning to have any more children.

“No, no! Definitely not, no,” the family matriarch responded emphatically.

Acknowledging the previous times she had responded similarly, Radford admitted: “I did (say that before), I’ve said it since…”

“A long time ago,” Noel joked. “We said when you got to 40 we wouldn’t have anymore and I don’t know how many we’ve had since then.”

Even with the stress, the couple seemed to already miss having new kids to raise

Even with the Radford’s seemingly definitive response, she reflected glumly on having no kids at home during school hours – with youngest Heide now lovinggoing.

“We’ve always got the grandkids coming round but it’s a different feeling when you don’t have any little ones at home. Sad times,” she said.

“No! No,” the Channel 5 star replied. “Every time it’s crazy in our house we always say to each other, ‘Why did my mum ever have more than three?’

“I will never have more than three, that’s just enough. With the two you’ve got a hand for each of them but with three you really don’t have that spare hand,” she concluded.
