Subway has announced a trial of jacket potatoes across more than 170 UK restaurants, running until April 15, 2025.
The new “Spudway” range comes as jacket potatoes have seen a surge in popularity on social media platforms. Videos debating the perfect topping combinations have racked up millions of views in recent months.
The Spudway menu features British staples including Cheese & Heinz Beans and Tuna Mayonnaise.
Subway has also incorporated fan-favourites such as Chicken Tikka and Rotisserie Style Chicken & Bacon.

A new Taco Beef option offers minced beef cooked in Mexican spices with onions, red peppers, sweetcorn and black beans.
Each jacket potato is freshly made, using British potatoes topped with salted butter and a double portion of cheese.
The comfort food classic aims to satisfy customers looking for a warm, filling meal option.
Subway has confirmed that any Sub filling can be transformed into a jacket potato topping.
Customers can create their own personalised Spudway using the wide variety of ingredients available in-store.
The chain even suggests trying a Meatball Marinara spud for those feeling adventurous.
