Popular retailer Sports Direct shared one store will close for good.
This follows other branches that have shut this year.
Shoppers in Swindon will be affected as the closure will take place within weeks.
A spokesperson Sports Direct owner Frasers Group stated: “It is with regret that we announce Sports Direct Swindon in Orbital Shopping Park will be closing early 2024.

“Where possible, we are committed to finding new roles within the Group for staff.”
Stores have already closed in 2023 as the British high street continues to change including a store in Chantry Place in Norwich and Central Six Retail Park in Coventry.
Earlier this month, Sports Direct shared that its gym group, Sports Direct Fitness, would close a branch.
It shared the gym in Salisbury closed for good on December 11.
An announcement explained it would not reopen and the cost of maintaining the gym was a big factor behind the move.
