A small plane crash has left multiple people injured in Philadelphia as shocking footage shows chaotic scenes on the ground where it came down.
Videos posted to social media shows the scenes in the area of Roosevelt Boulevard and Cottman Avenue amid the aftermath of the incident which happened just after 6pm.
Fire crews were quickly on the scene but the fire was intense and the orange glow from the flame could be seen from some distance away.
Two people were aboard the aircraft, according to police with other injuries also reported on the ground, CBS News reports.
The aircraft appeared to hit several buildings and cars in the area leaving a trail of destruction in its wake.
The crash comes just days after an American Airlines passenger plane collided with an Army helicopter over Washington DC.
All 67 people in both the helicopter and the plane perished in the horrific midair collision.
