It is not known what condition the cyclist is in following the incident but MailOnline has approached the Met Police for comment.
Films his own masked face he then says something into the camera, but it is inaudible with wind blowing hard into the microphone as he flees the scene.
He seemingly shared the video to social media himself, but the footage was later spread further with the caption: ‘I need answers because who thought this was okay?’
It has since received over 9,500 likes and more than 175 comments with people to shame the twisted assailant.
One user wrote ‘what a weird thing to do’ while another added ‘this is not’.
A third said: ‘Na, that’s attempted murder because that is mad.’
Another commented: ‘What? Why?’. A fifth replied: ‘This guy needs to be named and arrested.’
