Professor Tom Burwick has slammed the headmaster who allowed children to wear false eyelashes as a part of the school uniform and claimed “the whole point of school uniform is to give kids a level playing field.”
Uniform policy at Knole Academy in Sevenoaks, Kent is set to be changed as students were missing classes.
Headteacher David Collins said students were missing school to have their lashes removed or refusing to attend without them.
