Saquon Barkley’s longtime partner and fiancee Anna Congdon is potentially in hot water after old tweets allegedly from her containing racial slurs resurfaced.
Just over 48 hours before the running back leads the Eagles in hopes of spoiling the Chiefs’ three-peat chances in New Orleans, screenshots of the tweets from 2012 and 2013 have reappeared on social media.
The snaps show conversations where Congdon allegedly uses the N-word in multiple instances.
As a result, the quick backlash has users calling for her to apologize in the comment section.
Instagram page The Neighborhood Talk, a popular celebrity gossip page, shared the screenshots online. The post allegedly shows Congdon participating in an offensive hashtag game called ‘#ReplaceADisneyMovieWithN****.’
In Congdon’s alleged response, she references ‘The Cheetah Girls’ in a derogatory manner. The tweet dated back to December 11, 2012.

Another tweet shows Congdon quoting Kanye West’s ‘Gold Digger,’ which has the N-word in the popular hook, to respond to a friend.
The mixed reactions had some fans fuming while others leaned toward giving Congdon the benefit of the doubt, citing her youth at the time of the alleged tweets.
‘It doesn’t matter if it was 10 years ago. She was a teenager, not a toddler,’ one user commented. ‘She knew better.’
‘The fact that she said it so casually tells me everything I need to know,’ another wrote.
‘People grow and change,’ a third argued. ‘She was 15 when she tweeted that. Are we really holding her to that now?’
As it stands, Congdon has not yet responded to the claims about her.
Barkley and Congdon have been together since 2017 after meeting in college.
Amid his breakthrough season in Philadelphia, Barkley and Congdon announced their engagement after welcoming two kids, Jada and Saquon Jr.
The running back left the New York Giants after a miserable year last season in the Big Apple and hasn’t looked back since heading to Philly.
He is considered by many to be the biggest threat to the Chiefs winning on Sunday. Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said in the run-up that Barkley might well be the best running back in the history of the game.
