Straight after winning the Green Jacket for the second time, World No. 1 golfer Scottie Scheffler was spotted out at a dive bar in Dallas celebrating his victory.

Scheffler hopped on a private jet to head back home to his native Texas – right after promising his wife Meredith that he’d be there as soon as he could.

Now, it’s not clear if Scottie did make a quick stop at home before heading out to celebrate, but there are a number of pictures of him from this bar that made the rounds on social media.

That included snaps of him wearing the iconic Green Jacket while standing next to a number of people at Inwood Tavern.

As DailyMail.com reported, after winning, Scheffler briefly FaceTimed Meredith, who was watching in Dallas, and will take a private jet to Texas from the nearby airport for a late-night reunion.

He promised his wife, Meredith – who is about to give birth – that he’d head right home

But Scottie either took a detour on his way back home or decided to have himself a night out of celebration after visiting his wife.

Meredith is just days away from giving birth to the Scheffler’s first child – a prospect that had Scottie on the verge of leaving the Masters altogether.

He repeatedly said that he would leave the tournament – even if he was in the lead – if Meredith went into labor.

Fortunately, that never happened and Scottie won his second major tournament and collected the over $3million cash prize that went along with it.
