Adam Forshaw relished the moment when he scored against his former side Plymouth Argyle, celebrating in front of their bench, a month after the club terminated his contract.
Blackburn Rovers brought Argyle back down to earth as the relegation strugglers were looking to build on a three-game unbeaten run when they arrived at Ewood Park.
Forshaw’s goal was his first for Rovers since joining in January; it opened the scoring in the affair before Tyrhys Dolan doubled the hosts’ lead to secure a 2-0 win.
After finding the back of the net with a looping half-volley, Forshaw wheeled off in celebration and raised his arms out in a Jude Bellingham-esque manner.
He stood metres away from the Argyle bench, and was almost in touching distance of the gaffer, Miron Muslic.
