Princess Anne speaking to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle would be “unnecessary”, a royal commentator exclusively told GB News.
Sarah Vine previously spoke about the relationship between the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and the Royal Family.
Since stepping down as working royals, Harry, 39, and Meghan, 42, have become distant from many members of the Royal Family.
Despite being known to be close to Princess Eugenie, Princess Beatrice, and Sarah Ferguson, the Sussexes have made multiple negative statements about Prince William and Princess Kate.

The Duke of Sussex released a memoir titled Spare, and the couple both starred in a self-titled docuseries on Netflix where they spoke negatively about their time as working royals.
Vine claimed that Princess Anne, 73, Harry’s aunt, could help with the ongoing royal feud if she spoke with the duke and duchess.
She said: “I think she’s [Princess Anne] the answer to all the Royal Family’s problems.
“I think we should send Princess Anne to deal with Harry and Meghan…because if you got a call from Princess Anne you’d sit up jolly straight.
“If I were the King I’d say ‘Anne, please just go and deal with them.”
However, royal commentator Gareth Russell disagreed as he spoke exclusively to GB News, where he claimed Princess Anne travelling to the US would be “unnecessary”.
He added: “I don’t think there’s any need really, for a member of the Royal Family to go to America to talk to Prince Harry.
“It would give the impression that they’re trying to lure him back.
“I don’t think that would be a hugely popular impression with many people in Britain.”
During a recent interview with US media, the Duke of Sussex said he “loves [his] family” and would make an effort to come back to the UK in the coming months.
His declaration was off the back of King Charles’s cancer diagnosis, which saw Prince Harry return to the UK for a brief 45-minute meeting with his father at Clarence House.

Russell continued: “If there is going to be a reconciliation, it does make more sense for Prince Harry to be spending more time in the United Kingdom.
“I think the way to do that is for him to be here more often, which is what he says he wants to do.
“But I don’t think it would be necessary to send a senior member of the Royal Family to Montecito.”
