A touching moment between Prince William and his youngest son Prince Louis captured hearts during the recent Together at Christmas carol service at Westminster Abbey.

The six-year-old prince appeared momentarily overwhelmed during the festive gathering on December 6.

In a display of fatherly care, Prince William was seen leaning in to comfort his son, gently placing a reassuring hand on Louis’s shoulder as the young royal took his seat alongside siblings Prince George, 11, and Princess Charlotte, nine.

The tender exchange between father and son nearly went unnoticed amidst the evening’s performances and speeches at the special service.

The family’s presence added a particularly touching element to the evening dedicated to those who demonstrate love, kindness and empathy in their communities.

During the special service, Prince Louis participated in a meaningful “kindness tree” activity alongside other attendees.

The young prince left a heartfelt handwritten note on a red tag, which read: “Thank you to granny and grandpa because they have played games with me.”

The message is believed to reference Kate’s parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, who are known for being hands-on grandparents.

The Wales siblings were seen smiling as they took part in this touching tribute, which formed part of the carol service dedicated to those showing kindness in their communities.
