Great British Bake Off host Noel Fielding’s partner Lliana Bird has shared a hopeful New Year’s message on Instagram amid concerns over her husband’s health.

The 51-year-old is reportedly recuperating in France after being forced to abandon filming of his popular Apple TV series The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin.

Fielding missed both the initially scheduled and rescheduled work dates with the entire production left in the lurch, per the Daily Mail.

Filming was then halted completely, with “illness of a key cast member” being given as the reason.

Following the news, an insider at Love Productions, the company behind Bake Off, has claimed contingencies are being put in place to deal with Fielding’s potential absence from the hotly anticipated series.

Amid the swirling speculation about Fielding’s future, Bird took to Instagram to share a curious message to fans.

“Happy new year beauties, may your next quarter century be full of love, joy and laughter xx via @banksy,” she wrote.

Alongside the post was a picture of a mural which she attributed to the infamous graffiti artist Banksy.

The art featured a little girl in a black and white striped dress in a pensive pose looking over a list of demands.

The list read: “More sleep, more music, more tea, more books, more creating, more long walks, more laughter, more hugs, more dreaming, more fun, more love”.

Speaking to the Mail, the Love Productions insider claimed “everyone at Love Productions was, of course, worried to learn about Noel’s ill health, and will do everything they can to support him.

“Nothing is set in stone, but they are preparing for every possible outcome and have plans in place if Noel is unable to continue as host on series 16,” they added.
