A renewed appeal has been launched by Kent police to find missing couple Rebecca Smallcalder and Louis Bond who have not been seen since Monday.

Officers released a new CCTV image of the pair last night and said they are ‘very concerned’ for the pair’s welfare as fears around their sudden disappearance grow.

Ms Smallcalder, 26, and Mr Bond, 31, were both last seen together in Chatham, Kent at 3.25pm on January 6.

The couple, who are engaged, are believed to be together.

Their last known movements before disappearing saw them walking along Gillingham High Street together at 2.30pm.

Ms Smallcalder, from Gillingham, Kent, was also seen hours before her disappearance at around 11am on Monday, January 6 in the Brompton area.

She is described as being white, of slim build, 5ft 11ins with dark hair which she wears in a ponytail.

Ms Smallcalder was wearing a black top, black trousers and light blue or green shoes. She was also carrying a plastic bag – possibly containing books – and a grey handbag.

He was wearing a black woollen hat, orange and black workman’s trousers and black boots. He was carrying a black rucksack. Louis was also wearing a reflective jacket that he is thought to have since discarded.

Partner Mr Bond was seen in Rope Walk in Chatham on Monday afternoon.

Police originally said he may be in the Great Lines, Hardstown or Brompton areas and that officers are ‘very concerned’ for his welfare.

According to their social media profiles, the couple have been in a relationship since August 2016 and are now engaged.

Posting on Facebook yesterday, Ms Smallcalder’s sister Naomi Armstrong said: ‘Could everyone please look out for my sister. We just want you home Becky, we love you so much.’
