Nando’s is bringing back its popular Creamy Salad Dressing to restaurants across the UK and Ireland from February 4, following years of intense customer demand.

The creamy, garlicky condiment will make its permanent return to Nando’s Sauce Stations after being removed in 2021.

The PERi-PERi chicken restaurant chain made the announcement after superfans promised they would “never stop asking” for the sauce’s comeback.

Since its removal, fans have flooded Nando’s social media channels with daily requests for the sauce’s return.

The campaign for its comeback even led to devoted customers creating a Change.org petition to save the beloved condiment.

The sauce’s return ahead of Valentine’s Day 2025 marks the end of a lengthy campaign by dedicated followers who refused to give up on their favourite dressing.

The versatile sauce is described as the “perfect match for pretty much everything” on Nando’s menu.

While traditionally paired with salads, the creamy, garlicky dressing has become a favourite for dipping PERi-Salted Chips and Chicken Wings.

Some enthusiasts even add it to their Spicy Rice dishes. The most dedicated fans have been known to experiment further, with some even combining the sauce with Nando’s Bottomless Soft Swirl dessert.

The chain has previously reintroduced guest spices such as Mango & Lime for limited periods.

However, unlike these temporary comebacks, the return of Creamy Salad Dressing is confirmed to be permanent.

The restaurant allows customers to not only choose their spice level but also access unlimited sauces to “dip, drizzle, dunk or pour their hearts out.”

Nando’s has hinted at more sauce-related announcements in the pipeline. The restaurant chain advised fans to “keep their eyes out for more saucy news about their one true love.”

The return of Creamy Salad Dressing appears to be just the beginning of upcoming developments in Nando’s sauce lineup.
