A Washington family is seeking answers after it took six days for police to identify the body of a 32-year-old dancer who was found lying face down in the middle of the road.

Brittannee Parker, 32, died in the hospital after being found outside her home on October 4. Her body was found by a neighbor after she’d taken her dog for a walk.

Brittannee was bleeding from the head but was still warm and had a slight pulse. She was later pronounced dead in the hospital.

Her outraged family are now demanding answers as to why it took six days for her body to be identified.

He wrote on Facebook on Monday that the family was still searching for answers about what happened that fateful morning.

‘Despite the ongoing investigation, there are so many unanswered questions, and we need your help.

‘If anyone has any information, no matter how small, we urge you to come forward and help us find justice for Brittanee.’

He told The U.S Sun that he grew anxious when he did not hear from her, despite them having plans for the dancer to visit him.

He planned on driving to her job to check in on her when he received the devastating news by her aunt.

He expressed that his family was outraged that it took police almost a week to identify her body – even though coworkers reported her disappearance the day after she had been killed.

‘Finding someone dead just the day before outside the same building that they were doing the wellness check of someone.

‘I don’t understand why those two connections weren’t made.’

Parker was found with serious lacerations on her face and a wound to the chest, according to Mann.

Police arrived to the scene around 7.30am. They initially investigated the incident as a hit-and-run but are unsure if she was a victim of homicide due to the medical examiner not determining the cause of death yet.

Both the Tacoma Police Department and The Pierce County Medical Examiner’s Office didn’t immediately respond to DailyMail.com.

As of Thursday, Parker’s cause and manner of death is listed as pending on their website.

Her loved ones expressed their sorrows on social media.

Krystal Cook, who identified herself as Parker’s best friend, wrote on Facebook on Sunday: ‘Brittanee was my best friend. No matter how long or how far apart we had spent from each other, we could always pick up right where we left.

‘She had such a genuine spirit, loved deeply, and could light up any room with her big smile and contagious laughter. To say she will be missed is an understatement.’

‘This memorial was put together by those who were truly close to her, honoring her life in the way she deserved.

‘Her parents have mentioned plans for a service in California, though those details are still uncertain. Love you all—the beautiful faces I saw today truly embodied Brittanee’s life. We all continue to seek justice for her, and your support means everything to us.’
