A ‘much-loved’ mother-of-three tragically passed away under mysterious circumstances leaving her family ‘heartbroken’.

Bethany Wooldridge, aged 27, died eight days before Christmas leaving behind three ‘devastated’ young children and her husband.

The former West Midlands Police officer and call handler for West Midlands Ambulance Service, known as ‘Bee’ by her friends, collapsed at home on December 17.

Her husband Josh Wooldridge and their children Tommy, four, Lylah, seven, and Alyssia, 10, had just moved into their ‘dream home’ in Worfield, near Bridgnorth, in Shropshire, in January.

The death remains ‘unexplained’ and an inquest into the circumstances has been opened and adjourned.

The former police officer had only stepped down from service with West Midlands Police in January.

A fundraiser has now been set up by her sister Tory to help the family ‘during this life changing and heart breaking time’ as well as contribute to funeral costs.

The appeal reads: ‘Beth was the absolute best thing in our lives and we all absolutely adored her.

‘Her loving, caring, thoughtful nature will never be forgotten. Everything Beth wanted she achieved.’

More than £2,600 has already been raised from 157 donations against a target of £4,000.

The tribute added: ‘She was so so fierce when it came to her children and husband, and would protect those she loved the most more than anything.

‘She had such a beautiful soul, and we were all so proud of her.

‘As a family we are broken, and will continue Beth’s memory on forever.

‘Words will never describe the hole she has left in our hearts that can never be filled.’

The fundraiser continued: ‘It being such a devastating time, and so close to Christmas, as a family we are looking to raise funds, for her husband Joshua and their three beautiful children, to go towards funeral costs and for them as a family to use as they see fit during this life-changing and heartbreaking time.’
