Meghan Markle was filmed asking a woman not to stand next to Prince Harry in an awkward moment.

The Duchess of Sussex, 42, handed the Duke of Sussex, 39, a trophy at a glamorous charity polo match in Miami over the weekend.

The Royal Salute Polo Challenge raises money for Sentebale, a foundation that Prince Harry and Prince Seeiso of Lesotho founded in 2006 to help underprivileged children.

Meghan was filmed requesting Dr Sophie Chandauka, the appointed Chair of Sentebale, to move to the middle of the group away from Prince Harry during the victory photoshoot.

As a result, the duchess was in the middle of the group next to her husband in all the photographs, while Dr Chandauka posed beside Meghan.

For a few uncomfortable moments, Harry held his wife tightly, causing others to move around them in an attempt to find a spot.

Dr Chandauka had to duck under the trophy to find her place on stage when Meghan insisted on keeping her spot.

Prince Harry appeared red-faced during the tense exchange.

Just moments prior, Meghan showered her husband with affection as she celebrated his victory.

A Netflix camera crew was present to record the occasion for the duke’s upcoming series about polo.

Serena Williams, a close friend of Meghan’s, accompanied her to the event.
