A former model took to TikTok to share an eyeliner hack that makes her eyes stand out. Pairing her video with the hashtags #over50beauty and #over50women, this easy makeup hack might be one for middle-aged ladies to try.
Vicky Derosa (@vicky.derosa on TikTok) shared the “best” hack she learned while modelling to “always achieve the most beautiful eyeliner”.

“I can’t take credit for this, a makeup artist did it on me 40 years ago. This is what she taught me to do and I’ve been doing it every time I wear makeup.”
According to the former model, this eyeliner hack works particularly well on women who have green or blue eyes – although it works on any colour.
Vicky revealed that she takes her black liquid eyeliner and draws a line across her upper lashes, creating a “little wing” at the end.
Sometimes she starts applying the eyeliner in the very inner corners of her eyes, while other times she starts a little further out – it all depends on the look she’s going for.
Then, she grabs a “deep wine” coloured eyeliner and uses this to go over the black eyeliner.
This “blends in” to create a dark purple. Vicky said: “It combines with the black to sort of make a deep burgundy or deep wine.
“You go over the black liner with a soft pencil that’s in that wine, burgundy colour and it makes your eyes greener or your eyes bluer.”
She concluded: “That’s my way of doing eyeliner. I’ve been doing it for 40 years.”

In the comments section, Vicky provided a top tip for women with brown eyes. She said: “Brown eyes are lucky – you can really play with colours.
“The best is purple, wine colours – no black liner first, just the jewel tones.”
