Lidl is set to launch an exclusive Silentnight Snuggle Pod Human Pet Bed in stores from January 30, with shoppers being told to “run” rather than “walk” to secure the unique item.

The Snuggle Pod will retail at £69, offering customers a comfort solution for cosy nights in.

Its official description reads: “The Snuggle Pod is supersized for super comfort, generously filled with squishy fibres and covered in an irresistibly soft faux fur fabric, taking cosy to a whole new level.”

The supermarket suggested using it to “snuggle up”, be it with your furry friends, by yourself or with loved ones for a sleepover or movie night.

The “human pet bed” is comfort personified, a snug addition to your home whether you have a pet or not.

But Lidl isn’t the only supermarket delighting customers with exciting products. The launch coincides with Aldi’s reintroduction of its popular chocolate treats in the lead-up to Easter, setting up an exciting week for retail.

Aldi’s popular Dairyfine Chocolate Pets range is making its return to stores on January 30, following a sell-out success last year.

The chocolate figures, priced at £3.99 per 150g, will feature familiar favourites alongside a new addition.

In a matter of days, the chocolate family welcomes Mabel the Tabby Cat, joining Charlie the Labrador and Honey the Golden Retriever to create what Aldi has described as the “perfect chocolate trio”.

Each character offers a distinct flavour profile, with Honey featuring “silky sweet blonde chocolate” and Charlie made from rich, marbled milk chocolate.

Newcomer Mabel combines milk and white chocolate for a unique dual-flavoured experience.

Aldi’s Easter range expansion includes Dairyfine Chocolate Lollies, available at 99p for 30g treats in three character designs.

The supermarket will also offer a Chocolate Easter Egg and Plush Toy set for £4.99, allowing customers to choose from all three pets as “cuddly companions” alongside a 55g chocolate egg.

A £3.99 activity book option will complete the range, featuring a 62g chocolate egg plus puzzles, games and stickers of Charlie and Honey.

The supermarket promised that ‘your comfort will be taken to a whole new level’

While Aldi’s Dairyfine Chocolate Pet range will be available in a matter of days, shoppers will have to wait a little longer for the rest of the Easter range.

Shoppers have therefore been advised to “keep an eye out”, as items will land in stores between now and April.

In recent Lidl news, the supermarket has made a huge packaging change to all of its “least healthy” own-brand products.
