Lidl issued a safety update for packs of mini pretzels sold in stores across Northern Ireland and Ireland.
The snacks could cause discomfort when eating, including a potential “burning sensation in the mouth”.
Earlier this week, shoppers were warned of two batches, but a further two have now been included in the warning.
The Food Standards Agency said: “Lidl is extending the recall of two Alpenfest Salted Mini Pretzel products because they may cause a burning sensation in the mouth when consumed, potentially causing discomfort and making them unsafe to the consumer.”

Packs with the use-by dates of February 28, 2025 have been added to the previous ongoing warning.
Point-of-sale notices are now in affected Lidl stores and they give more information on what to do if you have bought a pack.
A Lidl statement reads: “Lidl Ireland & Northern Ireland is recalling the above Alpenfest Salted Mini Pretzels (Milk Chocolate and Dark Chocolate) with a Best Before Date of 28/02/25 and Batch 8509.
“It cannot be ruled out that, if consumed, this product may cause a burning sensation in the mouth.

“If you have purchased the above product, do not consume it. Instead, please return the product to a Lidl store for a full refund, with or without a receipt.
“Lidl wishes to apologise for any inconvenience caused. Any customers with queries or concerns can contact our Customer Service Team.”
Food recalls are issued when a problem is identified with items sold in stores.
This comes as Birds Eye recalls garlic bread that poses a potential health risk.
