Kate Cassidy, girlfriend of the late One Direction star Liam Payne, has made a poignant return to social media three months after his death.
The 25-year-old influencer shared a glimpse into her “simple” life through a new TikTok video showing her daily routine.
The sombre update featured Cassidy going about her day, including her skincare routine, workout, walking her dog and watching television.
The video marked a notably different tone from her previous content, with the caption simply reading “A simple day.”
Prior to this latest post, Cassidy had shared only two videos since Payne’s passing in November.
One was an emotional tribute to the late singer with the simple caption “I love you.”
The other recent upload featured a short clip of her pet dog, Nala.

Cassidy, who was previously an active presence on TikTok, had largely stepped away from social media following the tragic loss of her partner.
Fans quickly rallied to support Cassidy’s return to the platform with emotional messages.
“I have so much respect for you it’s unbelievable. you’re so strong. He watches over you two and I swear he’s also beyond proud of you. keep going. we love you,” wrote one user.
Another fan commented: “Why did I genuinely start tearing up while watching this?? I think because I can see how strong you are Kate, for not giving up when I’m sure it does feel like that at times. I’m proud of you.”
In a heartbreaking revelation, Cassidy shared that she and Payne had been “manifesting our lives together” shortly before his death.

She revealed a note from the singer that read: “Me and Kate to marry within a year/engaged & together forever 444.”
“Liam, I know we’ll be together forever, but not in the way we had planned,” Cassidy wrote in response.
“You’ll always be with me. I’ve gained a guardian angel. I will love you for the rest of my life and beyond, carrying our dreams and memories with me everywhere I go.”
During the Christmas season, Cassidy shared an emotional message about grief on Instagram.
She urged people to “be gentle with those around you this time of year as the holidays can feel different for everyone.”
The influencer has also paid permanent tribute to Payne through a tattoo of angel wings on her fingers, which fans spotted in 2024.
In her earlier tributes, she described him as “my best friend, the love of my life” whose “energy was contagious, lighting up every room.”
