Lady Louise Windsor’s “significant” role in the Trooping the Colour celebrations has been revealed by GB News Royal Correspondent Cameron Walker.
The 20-year-old royal attended the annual royal parade alongside her parents, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, as the Royal Family displayed a united front with the return of the Princess of Wales.
Lady Louise wore the same dress she chose for the King’s Coronation in May 2023, as she was first spotted in the royal car heading to Buckingham Palace.
After being spotted again in the carriage procession with the Duchess of Edinburgh and Duke of Kent, Cameron noted the “significance” of her role in the event, having not attended last year due to a clash with her university studies.

Cameron told GB News whilst watching the procession: “In the first carriage is the Duchess of Edinburgh, Lady Louise Windsor, her daughter, and the Duke of Kent.
“This is significant because Lady Louise Windsor is not a working member of the Royal Family, and I think that perhaps speaks volumes that she is part of this procession.”
Despite Lady Louise not being an official working member of the Royal Family, she often attends large royal gatherings such as Trooping the Colour.
The King’s niece has been previously praised for her efforts at royal events, with many commentators suggesting she would make a great addition to the working monarchy amid the King and Princess of Wales’s cancer battles.

Cameron gave further details of the carriage procession and noted two other working members of the Royal Family in attendance.

Cameron revealed: “In the second carriage we have the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, both working royals, and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence.
“Tim Laurence, of course, is the husband of Princess Anne, the Princess Royal, who is also Colonel of the Blues and Royals.”
Cameron also told GB News that they will most likely watch the processions from the “Major General’s office at Horse Guards Parade”.
Royal commentator and historian Rafe Heydel-Mankoo also noted the “significant” appearance of Princess Kate, the Princess of Wales, as she made her return to the royal spotlight after six months away to receive cancer treatment.

Detailing her return with hosts Andrew Pierce and Ellie Costello, Heydel-Mankoo said: “The King is delighted that the Princess of Wales is there.
“He knows that she is the strength and stay and the future of the monarchy, and she has done so much to rise above everything else that’s been happening on and provide that symbol of constancy and stability.
“Kate is much like her mother-in-law, and indeed the Queen Mother as well. The power behind the throne as King George VI knew was the Queen Mother.
“And I think to a great degree, Her Royal Highness the Princess of Wales will prove to be that vitally important strength for Prince William in the years ahead and when he eventually becomes King.”
