King Charles will travel to Poland later this month to attend a commemoration service marking 80 years since the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp.

The service will be held at the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum and Memorial on January 27th.

During his visit, His Majesty will meet with Polish President Andrzej Duda.

The King will also spend time meeting members of the local community in Krakow before attending the commemorations.

This upcoming visit marks King Charles’s fifth journey to Poland.

His previous visits include a 2008 trip accompanied by The Queen when The Duchess of Cornwall, and a 2010 visit during a broader European tour.
