King Charles and Queen Camilla will join Italian-American actor Stanley Tucci and the Italian Ambassador to the UK for a special dinner celebrating Slow Food and Slow Fashion at Highgrove Gardens tomorrow evening.

The event, which takes place ahead of Their Majesties’ State Visits to Italy and the Holy See in April, will bring together His Excellency Inigo Lambertini and Maria Grazia Lambertini with representatives from sustainable food and fashion movements.

The dinner will feature remarks from His Majesty and the Italian Ambassador, followed by a speech from Stanley Tucci, host of Tucci – The Heart of Italy.

World-renowned chef Francesco Mazzei has created a bespoke menu for the evening, blending British ingredients with Italian culinary traditions and local flavours to embody the principles of Slow Food.

The drinks selection will be crafted by celebrated Italian mixologist Alessandro Palazzi, who will incorporate Italian flavours and herbs foraged directly from Highgrove Gardens.

The menu has been inspired by Tucci, drawing on his experience hosting ‘Tucci – The Heart of Italy’.

Prior to the dinner, the King and Queen will attend a Reception where students and graduates from The King’s Foundation will showcase their work.

The demonstrations will highlight sustainable fashion and traditional heritage skills, including millinery, embroidery, furniture making and fashion design.
