King Charles and Queen Camilla were spotted in Scotland attending a Sunday church service at Crathie Kirk near their Balmoral estate this morning.

The royal couple both appeared relaxed as they made their way through the highland roads in their Audi.

The King, 76, wore a smart cream coat and was seated in the back of the vehicle.

Queen Camilla, 77, showcased a radiant smile from the front passenger seat, cutting a stylish figure in a fur hat.

The pair were photographed as they were driven through the streets of Crathie.

Queen Camilla and King Charles have enjoyed a period of downtime at Balmoral Castle, confirmed by the Court Circular.

They were spotted attending last Sunday’s church service at the Scottish church.

During stays at Balmoral Castle, the Royal Family regularly visit the place of worship.

Princess Anne used the historic church to host her second marriage to Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence in December 1992.

The intimate ceremony saw 30 guests in attendance to celebrate with the Princess Royal.

King Charles is set to leave the UK to visit Poland for the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp.

The service will be held at the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum and Memorial on January 27.

The monarch branded the upcoming international trip as “so important.”

Charles confirmed the visit during an engagement at Buckingham Palace, where he hosted three organisations dedicated to educating future generations about the Holocaust.

King Charles said: “I feel I must go for the 80th anniversary.”

His Majesty is set to meet Poland’s President Andrzej Duda and members of the local community in Krakow.
