Princess Kate’s white trouser suit sent an “important message” during this year’s Christmas carol concert, a style expert has claimed.

The Princess of Wales attended her annual Together at Christmas carol concert on December 8, which will air on TV tonight at 7.45pm.

Kate’s coat was designed by Chris Kerr, and her straight-leg trousers were from Holland and Cooper.

The mother-of-three accessorised with her Magic Alhambra earrings with two motifs from Van Cleef and Arpels.

Karine Laudort, a style expert, spoke exclusively to GB News to discuss the Princess of Wales’s “subtle messages” included in her outfit.

She said: “Kate has been known to send subtle messages with her clothing choices.

Despite this, Laudort believes Kate chose an outfit that would represent “new beginnings”.

The founder of the style blog, Kay Flawless Digital, pointed out that this was not the first time Kate had sent an “important message” via her fashion.

She explained: “In the past, the princess has also used her attire to convey important messages, such as wearing a cream dress with lace in the shape of a pineapple to symbolise infertility awareness and support during a visit to medical colleges focused on maternal healthcare.

“While it is uncertain whether she will continue this trend on Christmas Day, it wouldn’t be surprising if she chooses her outfit with intention and meaning as she always has.”

Kate’s Together At Christmas carol concert will air on ITV 1 at 7.45pm.
